My long-run objective is to achieve a senior managerial position in a large multinational corporation that markets, or preferably manufactures, commodities. One of my highest aspirations is to be one of those who establishes, or significantly advances, such a corporation. Therefore, I intend to develop within the scope of one firm. I believe that on my way to achieve my goal I will express my talents and interests and contribute to society’s prosperity.

Looking ten years back, I view my interdisciplinary experience in business management, army service, political and public positions, and traveling as a part of the solid background that can generate a successful senior manager in a multinational commodities corporation. In general, a strong career plan is one that brings the candidate to a very successful future, and one that is very likely to happen. This translates to 9 foundations for a strong career plan:

Descriptions of the candidate’s past/resume/background which are not clearly connected to the career goals unless the essay question specifically asks for it.

Everybody has a hopes for themselves and their future. However, what distinguishes a hope from a goal is the plan you make to realize it. When writing an essay about your school and career goals, you should show your ability to set goals as well as your understanding of the work, planning and responsibility achieving these goals entails.

A essay about goals should be properly organized to most effectively communicate and develop the topic. It should be structured so that it contains an introductory paragraph that includes a clear thesis statement, body paragraphs that support the thesis statement, and a conclusion. Throughout the essay you will use reflection, analysis, opinions and specific examples to support your main idea.

8:00 AM. July 1, 2030. The 23rd floor of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. A woman sitting behind the mahogany desk calls a Shanghai trader to buy 200,000 shares of Alibaba stock. Moments later, she dashes into a video conference with Tokyo analysts. When the conference finally concludes two hours later, the woman rushes down the stairs, hails a taxi to the Hong Kong International Airport, catches a flight to Thailand, and ends her day with a meeting with the CFO of Asus Computers.

I look forward to maintaining this busy schedule as a portfolio manager of an international equity fund about ten years after obtaining my MBA. The Top School academic experience can build on my public accounting training and my multi-cultural and multi-lingual background to prepare me for work first as an equity analyst in the mutual fund industry and ultimately as a portfolio manager specializing in Asian Pacific equities.

One of the questions typically asked during an interview is, “What are your goals for the future?” Employers want to be sure that you won t be moving on to another job right away. New hires are expensive to bring on board and expensive to train. If you leave in a hurry, they ll be right back at square one.

The most successful candidates are the ones whose ultimate aims align with those of the organization, even if they don t spend their entire career working for the same employer (and let s face it,  most don t ).

Performance reviews and appraisals are not the only time when you discuss your career goals with your boss, the goals can be set either at the very first meeting when you join in a new job or a new team/division or anywhere during project changes or set up in timely recurring meetings throughout the year.

“ most employees don’t know what they’ll be doing in 5 years. In our experience, about less than 5% of people could tell you if you asked. However, everyone wants to have a discussion with you about their future. Most bosses never engage with their employees about where they want to go in their careers — even the top talent. This represents a huge opportunity for you and your organization if you do bring it up.”

Since an interview is the best, albeit short timed way to find out information about the interviewee, the interviewer asks questions about career objectives, future plans (i.e. career plans).

Asking this question, the employer wants to observe two important things: What goals do you have in your career? And more importantly how will the prospective job fit your plans?

College is one of intermediate stages between your adolescence and maturity. People often leave their homes at this stage and start to live independently. They understand what life is and start to seek for the right place in it. Before they could ask their parents for help, as they were always around them. Now it is high time to make strong and independent decisions. They become fully responsible for their actions and that is one of the most important stages. http://www.writemypapers.org/examples-and-samples/college-as-a-place-to-find-out-who-you-are.html

The statement of purpose is one of the best ways that you can demonstrate your intellectual development, ability to write and think clearly, and knowledge of your field. Graduate admissions committees want to know that you understand what you're getting into, and that you have the commitment to survive a demanding academic program.

So how can you prove that you know what graduate school is all about? If you aren't already a graduate student, you probably have little firsthand experience to draw upon, but you almost certainly do have a broad range of other relevant experiences that you can share as you work to show the admissions committee that you've done your research and know what you're going to do with your degree.

Being successful in a profession covers a lot of aspects.
Being successful in a career does not only mean being paid at the end of the month and getting appraisals at the end of a year or more.

Every individual who is in a profession should have career goals and some objectives that are over and above their day to day objectives of earning and working.

I really feel robbed. But, imma take the loss like a man. I hope Eason wins the tourney tho. Better to lose to the champion than to the challenger, ya know.
