The primary education is virtually, a disorganized affair, each school pursuing its own method. The syllabus of secondary schools are state-managed. It has common curricula having a rationale in its syllabus. The Higher Secondary functions at three levels: the State-level, the CBSE and the ICSE. The texts are framed by scholarly experts selected by the NCERT or State text book committees. Thus we have struck off the older pattern of our time that has become jaded today and are obsolete.

It is important to understand that the facilities for education should be equal for all.  A large cross-section of dull, unresponsive students that hail from the affluent class makes their way into good schools where highly paid good teachers serve. On the other hand, such good schools are clean beyond the reach of honest earning parents. Thus there is cleavage between quality education and quality students today. Quality Education is the right of every quality student.

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- The following are remarks made Tuesday by U.S. President Barack Obama to students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Va.

I am here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we've got students tuning in from all across America, from kindergarten through 12th grade. And I am just so glad that all could join us today.

Education is an important human activity. It was born with the birth of the human race and shall continue to function as long as the human race lives. The importance of education may be summed up as under.

Education is an essential human virtue. Man becomes ''''''''man'''''''' through education. He is what education makes him. It has been rightly said that without education, man is a splendid slave, reasoning savage.

Adult education has now become a great necessity in India. It is obvious that an adult will be interested in studying only that which can help him with his occupation. He won’t be interested in learning from scratch and that too all those subjects that can never help him with the earning of his livelihood.

One should not be discouraged by the high costs that are incurred while implementing these programmes because the long term benefits derived from them will be much more than the burden of these high costs.

During their high school career, students may begin to question the importance of a college education. They might find themselves asking, “Why is it important to go to college?” The answer is that, more than ever, attending college provides opportunities for graduates which are not as widespread to those who have not received a higher education.

For many high school students, being able to immediately generate an income after graduation is an appealing thought. They may also be repelled by the rising cost of tuition, and while it is true that a higher education may be one of the largest expenses you will ever face, the importance of a college education has become quite evident in terms of earning potential within today’s economy.

Education, as a discipline, is concerned with methods of teaching and learning in schools or school-like environments as opposed to various nonformal and informal means of socialization (e.g., rural development projects and education through parent-child relationships).

The term education can be applied to primitive cultures only in the sense of enculturation, which is the process of cultural transmission. A primitive person, whose culture is the totality of his universe, has a relatively fixed sense of cultural continuity and timelessness. The model of life is relatively static and absolute, and it is transmitted from one generation to another with little deviation. As for prehistoric education, it can only be inferred from educational practices in surviving primitive cultures.

Getting an education is important, as most career paths require at least some education and training. Though the decision to continue your education is a personal choice, it's worth considering if knowledge and experience are important to you. If you have any career goals, you will most likely need an education to achieve those goals. Learning the importance of an education can help motivate you to learn more and achieve great things.
