Have you ever played cops and robbers? It''''''''''''''''s fun pretending to be a cop chasing and capturing a robber. It can be even more fun to be the robber because you take things and try to get away with them before your buddy, the cop, catches you. You''''''''''''''''re not really stealing, of course. It''''''''''''''''s just make-believe.

Or maybe you''''''''''''''''re playing baseball, trying to steal a base and not get tagged out. When playing basketball, you can steal the ball from a player on the other team. A stolen base or a steal on the basketball court can help your team. Hey it''''''''''''''''s fair play and it''''''''''''''''s part of the game!

Activists such as Adrienne Keene and celebrities such as Jesse Williams have shined a national spotlight on cultural appropriation, but much of the public remains confused about what the practice is. Because people from hundreds of different ethnicities make up the U.S. population, it’s not surprising that at times cultural groups rub off on each other. Americans who grow up in diverse communities may pick up the dialect, customs and religious traditions of the cultural groups that surround them.

Cultural appropriation is an entirely different matter. It has little to do with one’s exposure to and familiarity with different cultures. Instead, cultural appropriation typically involves members of a dominant group exploiting the culture of less privileged groups — often with little understanding of the latter’s history, experience and traditions.

What do you think are the reasons why high school students make it but stop there? College is a whole four years, but not everyone goes through with it. What holds them back?

I think if I were to drop out of college, it would be because I am not sure I want to live the life that college would leave me.. it has been hard to decide, and right now I am in college, but not sure if that is what I want to do. I want to move to a foreign country like Peru, and help others who are in need I love web design and all, but I don’t feel like it will amount to anything when my life nears it’s end.

Most Christians fail to comprehend  the implications of the belief system they embrace.  Much of what they ‘ know’ about their religion is a highly sanitized version that is promoted by their priests and pastors.  Few bother to read and understand what is written in the Bible or think critically about what Christian doctrine implies.

Vandalism is not a victimless crime. Someone will have to pay for the damage even if the perp gets away with it. We would live in a very lousy world if everyone went around committing vandalism. It lowers the value of property and can be expensive.
