is there any solution to global warming??

One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming. Many scientists believe that our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases is having a heating effect on the atmosphere, and this could be very dangerous for human life. This essay will examine the problem of global warming and suggest some ways of solving the problem.

Many problems could result from global warming. One of the biggest problems is rising sea level. This could result in the flooding of low lying coastal areas and cities, such as Egypt, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh. Some countries might even disappear completely! Another problem caused by global warming is changes in weather patterns. Many areas of the world are experiencing increased hurricanes, floods, and other unusual weather. A third problem associated with global warming is the effect on animals. Fish populations could be affected, while some insects which spread disease might become more common.

This essay will examine the problem of global warming and suggest some ways of solving the problem.

There are several things we can do to solve the problem of global warming. One solution is to stop producing C02. We can do this by switching from oil, coal and gas to renewable energy. Another solution is to plant more trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, which is not a greenhouse gas. A third solution is to use less energy and to recycle more products. Generating electricity is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide. If we use less electricity, we will produce less C02.

If the pictures of those towering wildfires in Colorado haven't convinced you, or the size of your AC bill this summer, here are some hard numbers about climate change: June broke or tied 3,215 high-temperature records across the United States. That followed the warmest May on record for the Northern Hemisphere – the 327th consecutive month in which the temperature of the entire globe exceeded the 20th-century average, the odds of which occurring by simple chance were 3.7 x 10-99, a number considerably larger than the number of stars in the universe.

Meteorologists reported that this spring was the warmest ever recorded for our nation – in fact, it crushed the old record by so much that it represented the largest temperature departure from average of any season on record. The same week, Saudi authorities reported that it had rained in Mecca despite a temperature of 109 degrees, the hottest downpour in the planet's history.

Congratulate yourself for wanting to learn more about the main cause of global warming. Not only does our species create huge problems that are beyond the ability of other animals to create, but we have the fortunate ability to analyze them and work to bring an end to their consequences. You are now actively engaged in that process!

Humans cause global warming with our unique ability to capture and use energy from stored energy sources. No other animal can start fires or build gasoline engines.

The economics of global warming concerns the economic aspects of global warming ; this can inform policies that governments might consider in response. A number of factors make this a difficult problem from both economic and political perspectives: it is a long-term, intergenerational problem; [1] benefits and costs are distributed unequally both within and across countries; and scientific and public opinions may diverge.

One of the most important greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide (CO 2 ). [2] Around 20% of carbon dioxide which is emitted due to human activities can remain in the atmosphere for many thousands of years. [3] The long time scales and uncertainty associated with global warming have led analysts to develop " scenarios " of future environmental , social and economic changes. [4] These scenarios can help governments understand the potential consequences of their decisions.

Have a look at some of the sites below. There are some simple explanations as to how this is happening and why. The problem with all the ice melting is that the water needs to go somewhere. Not all evaporates into the atmosphere so it goes into the sea thereby raising sea levels. What happens to countries and cities where millions of people live who lie lower than others.yep, they get flooded. Natural freshwater dams get flooded with salt water, crops damaged, homes lost and people die. For those left, where do they go? Animals will die because their natural habitat is destroyed and they are unable to survive. Take polar bears. They live on ice shelves and swim from shelf to shelf in search of food. If the ice melts they have to swim further.they can only swim so far so they end up drowning. If it happens enough they become endangered and then extinct. It also works at the other end of the spectrum. What about people and animals who live in constant drought conditions. Global warming heats up hot areas even more. Look at the difference in weather conditions worldwide. The northern hemisphere is experiencing worst winter conditions than ever before and its gradually been getting worst and worst over the past few years. Imagine what next year will bring. I live in Australia. Currently we are experiencing a heatwave in our southern states (where I am). Hottest weather experienced for the longest time in over a century and no relief in sight. Here in Victoria we are in the 8th year of drought. The top half of the country is currently experiencing floods.go figure. Hope this helps. Cause and effect essays are another common essay type, either as an essay type on its own, or as part of a larger essay which includes one or more paragraphs examining causes and effects. This page gives information on what a cause and effect essay is , how to structure this type of essay, how to use cause and effect structure words (transition signals) for this type of essay. There is also an example cause and effect essay on the topic of women at work.

A cause and effect essay looks at the reasons (or causes) for something, then discusses the results (or effects). For this reason, cause and effect essays are sometimes referred to as reason and result essays. They are one of the most common forms of organisation in academic writing. Sometimes the whole essay will be cause and effect, though sometimes this may be only part of the whole essay. It is also possible, especially for short exam essays, that only the causes or the effects, not both, are discussed. See the examples below.

In a broader term environment means everything that surrounds us. It includes living or biotic life, e.g. plants and animals and non-living or biotic components like air, water and soil. Environmental pollution refers to degradation of air and water by mixing of harmful and undesirable pollutants in them.

Today, pollution has become the biggest global problem because it has grown in magnitude and threatens to endanger all life on the living planet. As a matter of fact the gravity of situation created by pollution worldwide has been voiced at many national and international levels by various dignitaries and organisations to emphasise the need to realise the problem in all its seriousness and take whatever measures necessary in all earnest.

In his February Skeptic column for Scientific American , Michael Shermer discusses what evolutionary theorist Robert Trivers calls “the logic of deceit and self-deception“ and what it might mean for the evolution of morality.

This week on MonsterTalk , the hosts talk with the author of Monsters In America , Dr. Scott Poole. His book chronicles the history of monsters from colonial America to modern times—and tries to tackle the issue of meaning in a world where monsters are “meaning machines.”

I agree: “Global Warming is a HUGE political scare tactic. Don t get worried over it;” Except for the part that say’s: “Don t get worried over it”. The HUGE POLITICAL SCARE is the reason behind the whole scam. The government is working on a way to increase income. We will all have to pay a carbon tax or cap/trade to reduce carbon emissions. The money will come from you, cars and your electric bills. We have had several record low temp’s this year across the nation. I urge everyone to fight back before we have to pay $$$. This should have been stopped long ago. If you allow a tap/trade or tax on carbon, you and generations later, will pay forever because of a Huge Political scare caused by people who benefit finically, for the scare.
