Causes, Effects And Solutions to Global Warming Essay

18 Jan 2017 21:24 | Author: beautifulcat198 | Category: Essay topics on moral justice

Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth’s climate. There is great debate among many people, and sometimes in the news, on whether global warming is real (some call it a hoax). But climate scientists looking at the data and facts agree the planet is warming. While many view the effects of global warming to be more substantial and more rapidly occurring than others do, the scientific consensus on climatic changes related to global warming is that the average temperature of the Earth has risen between 0.4 and 0.8 °C over the past 100 years. The increased volumes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases released by the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing, agriculture, and other human activities, are believed to be the primary sources of the global warming that has occurred over the past 50 years. Scientists from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate carrying out global warming research have recently predicted that average global temperatures could increase between 1.4 and 5.8 °C by the year 2100. Changes resulting from global warming may include rising sea levels due to the melting of the polar ice caps, as well as an increase in occurrence and severity of storms and other severe weather events.

What is global warming? Global warming is the average temperature of Earth has increases since 1950 until now the temperature continuing increasing. Global warming can also refers to climate change that causes an increase in the average of temperature. However global warming are causes by natural events and human that are believed to be contribute to increase in average temperatures.

Global warming is a serious issue and is not a single issue but a number of environmental issues. Global warming is a rise in the surface temperature of the earth that has changed various life forms on the earth. The issues that cause global warming are divided into two categories include natural and human influences of global warming.

Global warming is the greatest challenge facing our planet. It is, in fact, the increase in the temperature of the earth’s neon- surface air. It is one of the most current and widely discussed factors. It has far-reaching impact on biodiversity and climatic conditions of the planet. Several current trends clearly demonstrate that global warming is directly impacting on rising sea levels, the melting of ice caps and significant worldwide climate changes. In short, global warming represents a fundamental threat to all living things on earth.

Global average temperature rose significantly during the past century. The prevailing scientific view is that most of the temperature increases since mid-20th century has been caused by increases in atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations produced by human activity. Most scientists agree that planet’s temperature has risen 0.5 degree Celsius since 1900 and will continue to increase at an increasing rate. As a result, the world is getting warmer. The year 1990 was the hottest year in the last century.

You are asked in the question to discuss the causes of global warming and possible solutions for individuals and the government.

Probably the most worrying threat to our planet at the present time is global warming. This essay will examine the reasons why global warming is occurring and discuss some possible solutions.

  7. Global warming is expected to have far-reaching, long-lasting and, in many cases, devastating consequences for planet Earth.

For some years, global warming , the gradual heating of Earth s surface, oceans and atmosphere, was a topic of heated debate in the scientific community. Today, the overwhelming consensus of researchers is that global warming is real and is caused by human activity, primarily the burning of fossil fuels that pump carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), methane and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

In the past, scientists have been skeptical of blaming increasing temperatures on global warming. As we head into future ventures of technology and ingenuity, the science community has steadily stepped on board with the Environmental Protection Agency and other believers in global warming to do something about it. Like never before, scientists are seeing growing rates of increased climate change.

Melting polar ice-caps, the collapse of vegetation and wildlife, and violent surges of hurricanes more rampant in the past, are all concerning reasons to understand how climate change can effect so many faucets on planet earth. Global warming doesn’t just mean the earth’s getting warmer. Global warming’s massive impact on social, economic, and physical health are areas for great distress.

The Earth has cycled through many phases of warming and cooling over the billions of years of its history due to the greenhouse effect. There are many natural factors that contribute to the greenhouse effect, but most of these occur very slowly over many millennia.

Temperature is increasing faster than ever on a global scale that cannot be explained by these natural processes. It is now clear that humans are responsible. But you can help change this. Find out how you can help.

We ve got a little time with global warming. The sea level will rise approximately 24 inches in around a hundred years. Icebergs will have become a real headache. My bigger concern is what effect the magnetic pull on the earth on and around Dec. 21,2012 (predicted by the Mayans as the earth s final day of destruction) will have on us, as that particular lineup in the universe only happens every 28,000 years. The experts agree that something extraordinary will happen (magnetic pole shift, asteroid, natural disaster), but at this time it s hard to say. The magnetic poles have shifted before (the north pole being around Alaska) and that seems more likely than anything else. I know this isn t R&S, but it reminds me of that quote from Revealations where it says and I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the former things have passed away. (or words to that effect.) Anyhow, time marches on. and time will tell. Thanks.

Global Warming, the general increase in the earth s near-surface air and ocean temperatures, remains a pressing issue in a society that has expanded its industrial use since the mid-twentieth century.

Greenhouse gases, atmospheric gases that exist to keep our planet warm and prevent warmer air from leaving our planet, are enhanced by industrial processes. As human activity such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation increases, greenhouse gases such as Carbon Dioxide are released into the air.

Any essay or paper attempting to cajole those that international warming is actual and synthetic might ought to be packed with fake technological know-how and emotion, via fact data might in elementary terms get human beings to realize that it is not any longer man made and that the Earth is at the instant in a cooling cycle via image voltaic interest.
