I think drugs should be legalized because some people get really stressed and some drugs relieve that stress. Drugs also relieve pain, so some drugs if they are legalized could be used for medical purposes. So in my opinion drugs should be legalized as long as they are in an area that is suitable, and where they cannot harm others. People who disagree, just take a look at the people who smoke tobacco. Tobacco is if not a more harmful drug than a drug such as marijuana. Tobacco can''''''''''''''''t even be used for medical uses. Therefore drugs should be legalized. Aged 14.

Who are you to tell me what I can and can''''''''''''''''t to to my body in the privacy of my own home as long as doing so won''''''''''''''''t harm others? It''''''''''''''''s as simple as that. Sure, drugs can be abused but that can be said about anything. Coca Cola can be abused but you don''''''''''''''''t see the government closing down all establishments that sell it. Consenting adults should be able to do whatever the hell they want to their own bodies and who are you to say that they can''''''''''''''''t?

Today, thousands of patients are able to use marijuana as an effective method of treatment for their ailments. This is possible because fourteen state governments across the country have acknowledged cannabis’ effective healing properties and legalized its consumption for medicinal purposes with the consent of a licensed physician. However, these patients are at the mercy of the federal government and its authority.

One of the biggest positive impacts that the legalization of marijuana would produce is the reintegration of hemp into our society, and more importantly in current times, our economy. Hemp is a plant that is grown for industrial use only; in fact, hemp contains less that 1% THC and causes no “high” when smoked.

If you think it should be legal, you are probably too lazy to train, sweat and practice. No wonder you are fat. America is the fattest country on earth. You have McDonalds, KFC and Burger King on every street. You have air delivered McDonalds. Lance Armstrong was American. You dopey dog.

The concept that everyone has the same chance in sport is ridiculous. Developed countries have institutes of sport, funding, doctors and wealthy athletes. Therefore, an athlete from a smaller less developed sports program cannot match this and there is an inherent disadvantage from the outset. Therefore, it is nonsensical to say that drug use in sport would be cheating, as the playing field will never be even. The use of drugs does not mean that an athlete simply wins without hard work and sacrifice, it simply makes the results better and the spectacle greater.

Well, any argument against it usually falls under either "Their marriage is against my interpretation of my religion", or "Eew, gays", neither of which should have any legal standing in a secular system of law. If gays are allowed to marry their partners, fewer of them are going to get into straight marriages and try to "make it work", which means fewer divorces. Which is definitely to the advantage of children of such divorces. People claim that gays are asking for special rights, but really, straight people would have a completely equal right to marry someone of the same sex. Of course, they wouldn t use it, but theoretically they could. I see it sort of like telling a paraplegic that they shouldn t ask for special rights like ramps, and that they have every right to use the staircase, like everyone else. Of course, if a ramp is built, people who can walk are more than welcome to use either the stairs or the ramp. As mentioned in Proposition 8: The Musical, gay marriage would bring in that much more profit. Currently, gay Americans often flock to whatever state allows them to get married (or Canada), which generates income for those states.
