I m confused about what your asking, but perhaps this will spark an idea? You learn more from your failures than your successes.

Alexander Pope (21 May 1688 – 30 May 1744) was an 18th-century English poet. He is best known for his satirical verse and for his translation of Homer , and he is also famous for his use of the heroic couplet. He is the second-most frequently quoted writer in The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations after Shakespeare. [1]

At Binfield, he also began to make many important friends. One of them, John Caryll (the future dedicatee of The Rape of the Lock ), was twenty years older than the poet and had made many acquaintances in the London literary world. He introduced the young Pope to the ageing playwright William Wycherley and to William Walsh, a minor poet, who helped Pope revise his first major work, The Pastorals. He also met the Blount sisters, Teresa and Martha , both of whom would remain lifelong friends. [5]

Within walking distance of Twickenham, on the banks of the Thames, in Strawberry Hill, The Alexander Pope is the perfect place to eat, drink and stay - from meeting friends after work, to a long, lazy Sunday lunch or a relaxing overnight stay in one of our 32 stunning boutique bedrooms. The large and impressive modern pub that was the 'Pope's Grotto' takes its name from the poet Alexander Pope (1688-1744), who had a house on the banks of the Thames near the site of the hotel.

He delighted in gardening and building his famous grotto. The gardens contained some of the earliest and finest cedar trees from Lebanon and a Spanish willow, cuttings from which were sent to the Empress of Russia in 1789. The Alexander Pope bedrooms have now undergone a beautiful makeover transforming them into a modern and chic “home from home” to compliment the pub’s delicious modern British food, tempting wine list and range of well-crafted drinks in the bar.

    1. Great music and poetry contain something deeper than just rhymes or correct harmonies. It’s something that cannot be taught, but is just done by those who have that ability. 2. Learn as much as you can, or pass through life ignorant. 3. Don’t be the first to leap and try something new, and don’t be the last to leave the old ways. 4. Beautiful writing doesn’t happen by accident; it is the product of skill. 5. When someone is good, don’t be afraid to be loyal to him. Your loyalty is worthless when you are the last person to admit his worth. 6. Be both smart and virtuous—everybody has faults, and you rise above them when you know how to forgive. 7. In spite of the fact that there is always something wrong, humans continually keep hope. 8. I’m not quite sure about this one. It could be saying that, no matter how old you get, you are never too old to learn. 9. When someone has decided to do wrong, everything aligns for them to do so. 10. Though I use satire as a weapon, I’m too subtle to use it excessively. Those are my interpretations. If you get completely stuck, I would recommend putting the quote through Google and reading what other people have to say about it. Best of luck to you!
