DO you mean, "vestigial structures would..." ???? If it s not used, then it would not have a POSITIVE affect on natural selection However, since whales are still around, and so is the bone, it doesn t contribute to natural selection NEGATIVELY... So, I would have to go with (3)

An anatomical structure is a part of an organism, mainly a body. Simple as that. For example, a bone is an anatomical structure, a vein, an artery, a nerve, an organ, a ligament, etc. Or more specifically a part of a part of the body is also an anatomical structure. The left atrium of the heart, the right lobe of the liver, the left condilum of the femur, etc. etc. What tools can be used to study it? Mainly the dissection of bodies and the description of what you ve seen. On the other hand, a physiological function is just that, a function of something, or if you wanna, of an anatomical structure. Physiology basically studies the mechanisms that the organism uses to work correctly. For that, every part must have its function, its physiological function . For example the heart, in simple words, has the physiological function of distributing the nutrients that are in the blood to the cells through the blood vessels. That s all, I hope it would be useful, greetings.

It means to declare all the elements of the structure in a.h file. The declaration is in the.h, and the actual definition goes into the.c file. Don t "define" in a.h file. It s bad style.
