    The quantum world is the driving force behind evolution -- and everything else. It ends up that the probablity on the quantum scale effects the probability on the larger scale. But, I m afraid that mutations remain random.

    Since the 20th century professional philosophers contribute to society primarily as professors , researchers and writers. However, many of those who study philosophy in undergraduate or graduate programs contribute in the fields of law, journalism, politics, religion, science, business and various art and entertainment activities. [26]

    Traditionally, the term "philosophy" referred to any body of knowledge. [14] [27] In this sense, philosophy is closely related to religion, mathematics, natural science, education and politics. Newton''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s 1687 " Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy " is classified in the 2000s as a book of physics; he used the term " natural philosophy " because it used to encompass disciplines that later became associated with sciences such as astronomy , medicine and physics. [15]

    The Physics ( Greek : Φυσικὴ ἀκρόασις Phusike akroasis ; Latin : Physica , or Physicae Auscultationes , meaning " lectures on nature ") of Aristotle is one of the foundational books of Western science and philosophy. [1] As Martin Heidegger once wrote;

    .extremely influential, and dominated science until the time of Galileo. The historian of philosophy, accordingly, must study them, in spite of the fact that hardly a sentence in either can be accepted in the light of modern science. [3]

    It is each student’s responsibility to assure that the prerequisite for the course has been achieved. The prerequisites are listed within each course information.

    Students who register in a course without the required prerequisite will be asked to leave with the possibility of no refund. Exceptions will be made for students who register with Blyth while they are taking their prerequisite only if the prerequisite will be completed before the start of their Blyth course. Students must submit a transcript at the time of enrolment demonstrating that they have achieved the required prerequisite.

    There is much on the web that speaks of reduced science, specifically related to chemistry and some related to physics. It really isn t my expertise, however. The philosophy of chemistry considers the methodology and underlying assumptions of the science of chemistry. It is explored by philosophers, chemists, and philosopher-chemist teams. The philosophy of science has centered on physics for the last several centuries, and during the last century in particular, it has become increasingly concerned with the ultimate constituents of existence, or what one might call reductionism. Thus, for example, considerable attention has been devoted to the philosophical implications of special relativity, general relativity, and quantum mechanics. In recent years, however, more attention has been given to both the philosophy of biology and chemistry, which both deal with more intermediate states of existence. In the philosophy of chemistry, for example, we might ask, given quantum reality at the microcosmic level, and given the enormous distances between electrons and the atomic nucleus, how is it that we are unable to put our hands through walls, as physics might predict? Chemistry provides the answer, and so we then ask what it is that distinguishes chemistry from physics? In the philosophy of biology, which is closely related to chemistry, we inquire about what distinguishes a living thing from a non-living thing at the most elementary level. Can a living thing be understood in purely mechanistic terms, or is there, as vitalism asserts, always something beyond mere quantum states? Finally, issues in philosophy of chemistry may not be as deeply conceptually perplexing as the quantum mechanical measurement problem in the philosophy of physics, and may not be as conceptually complex as optimality arguments in evolutionary biology. However interest in the philosophy of chemistry in part stems from it ability to connect the “hard sciences” such as physics with the “soft sciences” such as biology, which gives a rather unique role as the central science.

    First off let me just say your going around in circles around a pointless topic and only beginning to ask your question in the last paragraph. I doubt a physics degree would do anything on conciousness since it is no a level of energy or being, but rather a state of being aware. (I don t quite if you are talking about the soul, I didn t know if you were leading into that but if so, then no, the soul is not a form of energy no energy passes from the body when we die as far as we can tell, however a theologist might tell you otherwise, but even that will need to be your own interpretation) I am guessing that you are speaking towards the state of thought that comes into being along with biology as you were mentioning Jung there so here is my answer to that. (Your fault for making your question so confusing) It really doesn t matter, because you could very well have one and be totally blind, as well their is the excuse that consciousness occurs only when a being is truly what they are meant to be, like a child is only conscious when it is fully a child. Science is partly a matter of opinion and partly facts (don t even try to question it because you know i m right). But in the same way I doubt that any serious doctor would actually believe you comment noting that they have released the public document stating that a child only becomes a child after a certain period of time, and before that it is merely a chuck or flesh. So since that would lead to the debate of whether abortion is actually the killing of babies, I would have to say that no, most scientist have already accepted abortion as ethical and what your saying is unethical. I would suggest yo search the internet and look for a video called the Silent Scream which shows a soon to be aborted baby, reacting in fear and pain form an abortionist hand, its quite graphic so beware.
