If you believe that the word “condom” is inappropriate to use, then you very well may need a good “talking to” by a supportive adult in your life.

Thanks Mr. Morton for this! I’m sure it will help me in preparing for my examinations! Your work is very appreciated!

I don’t know how to write a lead in. I don’t know how to start? Can this website give me an example of a lead in about the persuasive essay?

A “lead in” is just another way to say attention catcher. Learn about those here:

Persuasion essays are a bit like argument essays , but they tend to be little kinder and gentler. Argument essays require that you discuss and attack an alternate view, while persuasion essays can be less "in your face." Some are more like attempts to convince the reader that you have a believable argument.

Consider prompt number 26 from the list below (cell phones should never be used while driving). You could explain in a persuasive tone - based on statistical data - that drivers using cell phones when driving led to 1 in every 4 crashes in 2014 (according to the  National Safety Council ).

The best persuasive essay lists Pros and Cons for both sides of the argument or whatever you may be writing about. List all of the Pros and Cons you can think of for both, and in detail explain these in your essay. When you hit the final paragraph of your essay, use your personal opinion to clearly state how you view which of the two sides is better, and why. Remember, when it comes to essays, unless it ends up doubling your essay, more detail is always good.
