A number of years ago at the age of 33, I found myself in a situation where I was moving half way around the world from Scotland to a new life in America.  Before moving, I started visiting more often with my 82 year old grandmother,  as I wanted as much quality time with her as possible before I moved.

During my visits with her we would talk and she would share stories of her days growing up in a small Scottish Village,   and of her life growing up in Scotland.  She told me about the time  she had worked as a nurse’s maid in a hospital caring for soldiers returning from battles in WWII   – I’d never heard this story before, and knew there were many more stories left to tell.

At some point in your education or your career you will be required to make a presentation about yourself or to write an autobiography as an assignment. Some people will welcome the opportunity to share their own personal experiences, while others will dread it.

Whether you love this assignment or you hate it, you should start with a positive thought: your story is much more interesting than you probably realize.

You may suddenly get this urge to start writing about what''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s happened to you in your life and why it meant so much to you.

And what''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s even more surprising, you may also have an overwhelming desire to ask your loved ones to start writing the same about their lives !

An autobiography is an account of a person s life written or otherwise recorded by that person. Adjective: autobiographical.

The term fictional autobiography (or pseudoautobiography ) refers to novels that employ first-person narrators who recount the events of their lives as if they actually happened.

An autobiographical essay is just an essay about something you experienced. Even so, writing an autobiographical essay can be challenging. You might write an autobiographical essay for a class, an application, or just for your own personal enjoyment. Whatever your reason, there are some key concepts and strategies that you will want to keep in mind as you write. Keep reading to learn more about how to write an autobiographical essay.

Charles bronsons autobiography is an excellent read, not the celeberity charles but the one who has been incarcerated in british prisons for around 40 years of his life. Despite his situation and some mistakes he is a charming man with strong morals. im sorry but ill have to recommend a celebrity s too, though it is still the story of an everyday man...Oliver Reeds Evil Spirits. My favorate autobiography, its filled of stories of his drunken escapades. G day to you.
