Maybe start out with an intro stating why you wanted to be a civil air patrol and what made you want to do something like that. Add a personal experience. Then talk about how your specific experience impacted you in some way. Put some good characteristics that you learned or embraced. Hope this helps!! Good luck!

    Structure of the argumentative essay
A good argumentative essay has several paragraphs that should be concentrated on different aspects of the essay

Argumentative essays can be written on many different topics. Delicate approach to choice of a topic or keen understanding of the given topic is the key element of good essay writing. Here you can see some examples of argumentative essay topics:

Notice that you do not have to completely prove your point; you only have to convince reasonable readers that your argument or position has merit; i.e., that it is somehow more accurate and complete than competing arguments.

Finally revise and edit, and be sure to apply the critical process to your argument to be certain you have not committed any errors in reasoning or integrated any fallacies for which you would criticize some other writer.

For an argument essay to be effective, it must contain certain elements that will persuade the audience to see things from your perspective. For this reason, you must take a few minutes to plan and prepare before you jump into writing an argument essay.

To find good topic for an argument essay you should consider several issues at first, and choose a few that spark two solid, conflicting points of view or very different conclusions. As you look over a list of topics you should find one that really piques your interest.

Thus, as a service to my husband's students who sometimes have to write essays, as well as a service to the greater Internet community beyond, I have put together the following tips and instructions on how to construct a good essay for a university class.

Most of the instructions and tips here are geared towards informative essays as opposed to argumentative essays. I believe this information is still relevant to argumentative essays, but the examples used don't tend to follow argumentative structure. For more specific information on argumentative essays, please see Writing Argumentative Essays by Bill Daly. The information I do include specific to argumentative essays is on the writing page.

We humans are no different in many ways than the lower animals of which we share the planet with. In many cases throughout history, we humans have followed our animalistic nature, and to a significant degree, still do. The only difference between the human animal and any other is just a matter of degree. All that we feel makes us human can be found to one degree or another in the lower animals --- thus, our evolution. Forget religion. It has nothing to do with reality. In order to understand the evolution of life, you must understand something about the cause, and evolution of our universe, the laws of physics, and then life itself. Everything in our current realm has its basic origins at the singularity at the time of the big bang origin of the universe. What happen at the singularity was simply scaled up and had undergone expansion and transformation, cooling, and various phase-transitions. Having said that, let s take a look at the very basic fundamential elements of evolution -- the virtual particle. These are subatomic particles that comes right out of the vacuum as electrons and its antiparticle, the positron. These particles appear as a result of borrowed energy from the vacuum that must be paid back. The electrons and positrons collied and annihilate each other, releasing energy, photons, and other type of subatomic particles. A better example is the neurton of an atom, when isolated, it will naturally decay into an electron and a proton which leads to other particle interactions. The point is, if subatomic particles just pop into and out of the vacuum in perfectly natural ways, and this action leads to new subatomic particle types that actually interact in our world, what is to say that on a larger, scaled up version, this isn t the very foundation of life itself and its evolution? I believe that it is. Everything that we know and experience in our universe at every level (even ourselves and consciousness) is a direct function of what happen at the most minuscule undulations at the singularity. Patterns throughout nature suggest that reality is just a scaled up version of events at the time of the big bang.
